“We were blown away by Ash Barn. What an outstandingly beautiful dog friendly holiday home Jo and her family has to offer. This was our first time ever visiting Cornwall and we brought our two dogs with us for our staycation to celebrate my birthday and this accommodation was perfect base to explore, celebrate and chill out with our dogs.

The barn is not to remote but it is tucked away in a nice quiet tranquil area on the golf course in Swanpool which was ideal for us but you will need a car to get around. Ash barn had all the amenities and was extremely clean and well looked after and was a proper home from home. We were over the moon with the outdoor space there was to offer and was nice to have al fresco breakfasts in the morning on the decking and then have evening drinks on the bbq area in the evenings just perfect!

The barn was nice and cosy and warm and has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The nearest beach was a 3 minute drive away which was beautiful and the water was warmer then expected for the end of December in the UK. Falmouth was a 8-10 minute drive away from the property and around £8-9 in a taxi as we ate/drank out each night. I would recommend if your eating out to book in advance before arriving as the places we went were fully booked most nights.

Overall, the property has everything you need and was perfect for us and the communication from the owners was great. I cannot wait to return to Cornwall and would highly recommend staying here as I would definitely stay here again for sure. Thank you for a lovely holiday.”
